Michelle Schrotz began working for the National Counseling Group, Inc. in February 1999 as a full time Office Manager. Ms. Schrotz graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in History.
Ms. Schrotz began her career with the National Counseling Group (formerly known as the Northern Virginia Counseling Group) as an Office Manager for the Annandale and Manassas offices. After 5 years in an office management capacity she moved into the Human Resources field and became the Human Resources Manager in 2004 and Director of Human Resources in 2008. Ms. Schrotz works closely with NCG's Directors and Senior Management Team to ensure that NCG recruits and retains the highest level of staff to best support NCG's core values and mission. Ms. Schrotz also guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and benefits for the entire company.
In her spare time, Ms. Schrotz is a pianist/singer/songwriter and has professionally recorded several CD's with other musicians. On the weekend she performs live in various venues with her band BRAVE (www.bravemusic.com) in the Washington D.C. region.
